Garrett Prybylo

Garrett Prybylo is a principal at Seyfnia & Zakhary, P.C. After seven years at a boutique civil litigation firm, followed by two years at the west coast office of a mid-sized firm based out of Chicago, Garrett partnered with a colleague to start his own venture. Garrett focuses his practice on litigation and dispute resolution. Clients call on him to help overcome business and legal challenges and develop plans to achieve their business objectives. His practice encompasses a wide range of complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on business torts including, partnership dispute, breach of fiduciary duty, contract disputes and fraud. He has extensive experience in state and federal court. Garrett has tried several cases to verdict in state and federal court as well as through AAA and JAMS Arbitration across the State of California.

Garrett also maintains a land use practice which overlaps with civil rights actions. Garrett has brought actions in federal court against the cities of Costa Mesa, Encinitas, Dana Point and Newport Beach for discriminatory land use ordinances. These actions are brought under the Fair Housing Act (FHA), Fair Employment Housing Act (FEHA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Through these matters, Garrett represents small to medium-sized businesses that provide state licensed recovery services and assists clients navigate municipal land use ordinances to achieve their business goals.
